Jillian Asquith is the Founder and Managing Director of Asquith Workforce, a Supply Nation Certified, 100% Aboriginal-owned business established in 2015. Over the past decades, Jillian has built a strong reputation as a leader in recruitment, workforce participation, retention, business capability and diversity and inclusion initiatives across Australia.
With ancestral ties to the Awabakal people, Jillian is deeply connected to her culture, community, and Country. Guided by First Nations perspectives and the wisdom of community knowledge holders, she has developed a strong understanding of the social, cultural, and economic factors that influence employment outcomes.

Simon Connell is the Director– Safety, Quality & Environment at Asquith Workforce and a highly experienced SQE professional with more than 26 years of experience across health, safety, quality, environmental management, compliance, and business systems.
Having conducted workplace audits since 2015, Simon has extensive experience supporting organisations across a diverse range of industries, including mining, construction, manufacturing, infrastructure, environmental services, facilities management, and government sectors. His expertise spans ISO management systems, risk management, workplace compliance, auditing, business improvement, and workforce capability development.
Since joining Asquith Workforce in 2021, Simon has led the organisation’s Safety, Quality & Environment division, working closely with businesses throughout Australia and New Zealand to strengthen operational performance, achieve compliance objectives, and implement sustainable management systems. He is passionate about helping organisations build safer workplaces, improve governance frameworks, and achieve internationally recognised certifications, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
Simon is also a key contributor to Asquith Workforce’s Roadmap to ISO Certification for Aboriginal Business program, supporting Aboriginal businesses to improve business systems, strengthen supply chain readiness, and build long-term sustainable growth opportunities.
